The three new on-line query systems in StreamNet (data, library, map) all require Frame-aware browsers that support java script. Our testing reveals the Netscape Navigator versions 3.x and newer and MS Internet Explorer versions 3.x and newer meet these requirements.

Furthermore, we have discovered that in some installations of various browsers, the DEFAULT setting for java script is DISABLED, effectively disabling our query systems. If you have one of the above browsers with a version 3 or later and are experiencing problems with accessing these query sites, check your browser settings and make sure JAVA SCRIPT is enabled.
