READ ME file for seamount.shp TerraLogic GIS March 17, 2004 These data were provided in October 2003 by Angela Payne NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service Office of Protected Resources angela.payne@noaa.gov 301-713-2328 ext. 207 TerraLogic projected the data to the same coordinate system as all of the other EFH data, Albers Equal Area projection. TerraLogic also subset the original shape file to include seamounts within the West Coast EEZ. Five of these seamounts: San Juan, Davidson, Gumdrop, Pioneer, and Guide, are mapped at a higher level of detail within the EFH geological habitat layer (geohab_woc).
